- Full-time What Success Looks Like Overview Auto Diagnostic & Repair is seeking a high-capacity General Manager to serve as the operational integrator across all three locations.
This person will be a direct right hand to leadership executing the company's growth vision, building accountable leadership structures, and driving performance across Antioch, Brentwood, and Boise. This role not only oversees daily operating rhythm but also oversees the strategic execution, owning the business results. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations across all three locations, ensuring consistent service delivery, staffing, and quality standards. Develop and implement performance management systems including KPI dashboards, shop scorecards, and weekly reporting cadences. Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain Shop Managers, Service Advisors, and Technicians in collaboration with CV Recruitment Services. Own labor efficiency, GP%, car count, and average repair order (ARO) as primary performance metrics. Build and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all service workflows, ensuring consistency across locations. Serve as the primary communication link between ownership and team leadership — translating Brian's vision into daily execution. Manage vendor and parts relationships to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality. Lead weekly operations meetings, hold Shop Managers accountable to site-level targets, and escalate material issues to ownership. Partner with the marketing team to convert increased inbound demand into efficient, high-retention service delivery. Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement aligned to ADR's Core Values. Qualifications 5+ years in automotive service management; multi-site experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated P&L ownership and experience managing labor, parts cost, and overall shop financials. Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams in a trade or service environment. Strong systems thinker — experience implementing SOPs, scorecards, and performance cadences. Excellent communication and team leadership skills; ability to command respect from both front-of-house and technician staff. Comfortable operating in a fast-growth, entrepreneurial environment with evolving structure. ASE certification or technical background is a plus; not required for a primarily operational/leadership focused GM. Experience with shop management software (e.g., Mitchell 1, Shop-Ware, Tekmetric, or similar) preferred. Success Profile (First 90 Days) Weeks 1-2: Complete a full operational audit of all three locations: team, processes, metrics, and gaps. Week 3-4: Present findings and 90-day execution plan to Brian Bellante. Month 2: Install weekly shop scorecards and team accountability cadences at each site. Month 3: Demonstrate measurable improvement in at least two of: labor efficiency, ARO, car count, or team retention. What Success Looks Like Being a guiding leader to support operational managers to hit their goals, while building, and optimizing day to day functions, processes, and procedures. (Implement and Move Objectives through the adoption phase). Continue to build and align internal personnel with growth, optimization, and new opportunities within the organization based on performance and goal attainment. Proven leadership and increase in operational performance for net profit, and growth, which will lead to scalable growth and market expansion opportunities.
