Job Description
Bilingual General Manager Assistant (Chinese/English)
Coordinate meetings for the General Manager, prepare meeting notes and minutes, and follow up on key action items.
Assist in developing and implementing company operational plans and key projects.
Prepare, translate, and manage Chinese and English documents, reports, and business emails.
Communicate and coordinate with external partners, including accountants, legal advisors, suppliers, and other service providers, and assist with reviewing related expenses.
Assist the General Manager with daily schedule arrangements, transportation and driving arrangements, pick-up and drop-off needs, as well as verbal and written translation during daily activities.
Qualifications Meeting & Task Follow-Up Operations & Project Support Documents & Business Communication External Partner Coordination Schedule & Daily Arrangement Support Education Bachelor's degree or above. A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Financial Experience Previous experience in finance or accounting, with a solid understanding of basic financial processes and financial statements. Language Skills Fluent in both English and Chinese , including strong speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills. Must be able to use both languages in daily work.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and strong execution capabilities.
Strong communication skills and professional work ethic. Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining high-quality work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint .Able to work independently, solve problems effectively, and take strong ownership of responsibilities.
Willing to work flexible hours based on the company's business needs.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications Organizational & Execution Skills Communication & Professionalism Office Software Independent Working Ability Flexible Schedule Work Authorization Cross-Border Business Experience Experience working with U.S.-China businesses or in cross-border business operations. Driving & Software Skills Valid U.S. driver's license and the ability to handle basic transportation needs. Experience with financial or office software such as QuickBooks is preferred.
Previous experience as a General Manager Assistant, Management Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar role is preferred.
Experience handling daily administrative and business documentation, including but not limited to: Executive Assistant Experience Administrative & Documentation Experience Preparing and reviewing commercial documents such as Proforma Invoices (PI) and contracts . Following up on import processes and customs clearance. Purchasing and managing office and company event supplies. Maintaining and reconciling inventory records, sales reports, and financial data. Assisting with other daily administrative and operational support tasks.
