Job Description
Job Summary The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in overseeing all Jet Room store operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and consistent execution across all departments. This role supervises managers and staff, maintains daily operational flow, oversees financial controls, manages reporting, and ensures all departments meet performance, compliance, and service standards. The AGM plays a critical role in training, scheduling, vendor relations, and cross‑departmental coordination. Essential Job Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Daily Operations & Financial Controls Open and close the Jet Room facility. Count and confirm daily drops and safe money as needed. Ensure register change is secured and available. Count and verify cashier drops. Refill ATMs. Correct discrepancies and reconcile variances. Oversee daily office payments. Maintain interior and exterior premises standards. Staff Leadership & HR Coordination Supervise managers and hourly staff. Conduct job interviews and support hiring decisions. Create and manage employee work schedules. Ensure all hours worked are accurately recorded and submitted per company policy. Collaborate with HR on employee hours, payroll, and Requests for Time Off (RTO). Process and approve RTO requests in accordance with policy. Enforce uniform standards, job descriptions, SOPs, and documentation requirements. Support career path planning and succession development. Provide coaching, corrective action, and performance support as needed. Vendor, Product & Inventory Oversight Conduct vendor meetings and establish vendor terms. products. Identify, review, and evaluate all product application sectors, markets, industries, and product categories. Reporting, Analysis & Compliance Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Update, edit, and issue management reports. Follow all operational protocols and compliance requirements. Ensure attainment of operational forecasts and performance targets. Maintain synergistic integration across personnel, departments, divisions, and corporate resources. Utilize, maintain, and update all operational systems. Sector & Department Oversight Monitor new sectors to ensure: All data intake is completed and provided to the Processing Administrator. Investigations are obtained for sector analysis.Supervise Directors to ensure:
File information is input into databases. Highlights are completed timely. Special requests are date‑stamped and completed. Status files are updated monthly. Review all files within 24 hours of placement in the daily review bin. Review all incoming department mail daily and provide processing instructions. Distribute mail to staff and ensure proper follow‑up. Administrative Oversight & Quality Control Develop, implement, and use forms, checklists, and quality‑control strategies. Develop and maintain IP security protocols. Oversee calendar control and department coordination. Ensure reports are updated, edited, and issued on schedule. Monitor TTD completion and follow‑up. Ensure department information corrections are completed. Ensure requested records are received, recorded, and updated in summary sheets and databases. Review, analyze, and issue monthly reports by the last operating day of each month. Events, Deliveries & IT Coordination Oversee events, deliveries, and related logistics. Oversee work orders and IT work orders. Oversee social media as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This position supervises managers, directors, and hourly staff across multiple departments. Reports To General Manager Departments Overseen Sales, Inventory, Dispatch, Delivery, Security, Events, Administrative Processing, and related operational departments. Working Conditions Professional retail environment. Regular use of computers, phones, printers, and standard office equipment. Flex schedule required, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Regularly required to talk and hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, reach, and use hands or feet. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Basic Qualifications Minimum 21 years of age. 2+ years of experience in retail leadership or operations. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience supervising teams and managing multi‑department operations. Preferred Qualifications Experience in cannabis retail or regulated environments. Strong understanding of compliance, SOP enforcement, and operational controls. Experience with vendor relations and product analysis. Strong leadership, time management, and problem‑solving skills. Travel Requirements This position may require travel.
