An integral part of our service offering is coordinating Independent Motor Carriers to provide home delivery of large appliances and electronics to consumer homes and businesses on behalf of our clients. We are providing top-tier experiences in the Ontario, CA market for a leading retailer of appliances. This position requires assisting the account manager with overseeing operations and the on-site staff that interfaces with the client and manages the day-to-day operations of a brokerage, client relations and motor carriers for the surrounding counties.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, this individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Oversee daily shift operations in the absence of management Work with management to achieve company productivity and performance objectives Monitor key performance indicators; proactively identifying trends Recruit and oversee independent contract carriers and maintain positive working relationships Client and customer service relations Conflict resolution Oversight of claims management Maintain and uphold company policies and procedures Understand every staff position at the location and assist/perform all duties as needed Mentor and develop staff Tends to escalate customer issues as they arise Key control and alarm code control Develop and submit work schedule to Management for approval Conduct inventory of equipment Read/respond e-mail daily Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards; adheres to and enforces company and legal regulations Develops schedules; assigning and monitors' work; gathering resources; resolves operations problems Delegates tasks to run daily operations Dispatch and monitor ICC delivery trucks Ensures delivery processes are followed Make follow-up calls to customers to resolve issues and complete post calls to ensure customer satisfaction Other duties as assigned by management We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
