As a General Manager, you will lead a high-performing team and play a pivotal role in shaping company culture, driving operational performance, and expanding business across municipal, commercial, and residential markets. Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for daily operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, workflow management, and high-quality service delivery Maintain and promote operational excellence, safety compliance, and adherence to industry standards Drive accountability and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all teams Develop and maintain strong relationships with municipal, city, county, commercial, and high-value clients Identify and pursue growth opportunities to expand the companys market presence Support sales initiatives, proposal development, and contract negotiations Represent the company at industry and community events to enhance visibility and reputation Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance to ensure profitability and sustainable growth Analyze operational metrics and implement strategic improvements Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams, fostering a positive and accountable company culture Conduct coaching, performance management, and employee development initiatives Support safety initiatives and ongoing operational training for all staff Qualifications 5+ years of senior leadership or general management experience Strong background in tree care, arboriculture, landscaping, or related green industry required Experience working with municipalities, cities, counties, or government contracts preferred Proven success in leading operations, business development, and financial performance Working knowledge of Spanish strongly preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience managing multiple teams Knowledge of safety regulations, operational compliance, and industry best practices ISA Certified Arborist certification preferred Valid drivers license required Willingness to travel as needed Compensation $130,000$150,000 base salary plus performance-based incentives and bonus opportunities. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
