New Driving School Launch Company:
Jungle Driving School Location:
Lakewood, Colorado — 100% on-site
Employment:
Full-time Compensation:
$28/hour base salary plus a performance bonuses of up to $10,000 annually, based on agreed launch, enrollment, customer-experience, compliance, and team goals. Health Insurance reimbursement, Retirement matching, Flexible PTO available.
Schedule:
Primarily weekdays, with occasional evenings and weekends for classes, open houses, community events, and launch needs Build the school, the team, and the reputation Jungle Driving School is preparing to open its first Denver-area location in Lakewood. Our mission is simple and serious: saving lives, one teen at a time. We want to build a premium driver-education experience that families trust, students remember, and employees are proud to represent. We are looking for the on-the-ground leader who will help turn that vision into a working, growing business. You will be the owner's trusted partner in Lakewood and the person who makes sure important things actually happen. This is not a role where you inherit a fully staffed office, polished systems, and a complete playbook. One morning you may be interviewing instructors and building a school-partnership plan. That afternoon you may be meeting a contractor, picking up a training vehicle, assembling furniture, or organizing licensing records. In the evening, you may host an open house and talk with parents who are deciding whether to trust us with their teenager. If that sounds energizing, you may be exactly who we need. What you will own Launch the location. Coordinate vendors and contractors; manage opening checklists; help receive and set up furniture, technology, vehicles, signage, and supplies; notice gaps and solve them. Build the team. Recruit, interview, onboard, schedule, coach, and retain instructors and support staff. Create clear expectations and a culture that is warm, accountable, safety-minded, and professional. Create an exceptional family experience. Talk with students, parents, and prospective families; answer questions; conduct tours; follow up with leads; resolve concerns; and make the school feel organized, welcoming, and trustworthy. Grow local awareness and enrollment. Plan open houses and community events; build relationships with schools, counselors, after-school programs, youth organizations, and local businesses; support grassroots and digital marketing; and turn good relationships into measurable enrollment. Own daily operations. Manage scheduling, facilities, supplies, vehicles, customer communications, enrollment workflow, staff coverage, and the hundreds of small details that determine whether a location runs well. Build compliant systems. Complete and organize licensing and regulatory paperwork; maintain accurate student, employee, training, and operational records; create repeatable checklists; prepare for inspections or audits; and complete required state training. Partner with a remote owner. Provide concise weekly reporting, surface problems early, bring recommendations—not just questions—and make sound day-to-day decisions without waiting for constant direction. What success looks like The location opens safely, professionally, and with required approvals, people, vehicles, and operating systems in place. Qualified instructors are hired, trained, scheduled, supported, and held to consistent standards. Families receive fast, warm, accurate communication from first inquiry through course completion. Enrollment builds through disciplined follow-up, local marketing, referrals, events, and community partnerships. Licensing, student records, safety documentation, and compliance processes are organized and audit-ready. The owner has reliable visibility into performance and can trust that the Lakewood operation is being actively led. You may be a strong fit if you… Have at least five years of progressively responsible experience in operations, location management, education, customer service, hospitality, retail, a startup, or another people-intensive business. We care more about evidence of ownership than a perfect industry match. Have hired, scheduled, coached, and held employees accountable. Can show that you have launched a location, program, department, event, service, or meaningful new process from scratch. Are comfortable with community outreach, relationship-building, sales follow-up, and speaking with parents and teenagers. Can turn regulations and messy workflows into clear, documented systems. Communicate clearly in person and in writing, prioritize well, and close loops without repeated reminders. Are willing to switch between strategic work and unglamorous practical tasks as the situation requires. Hold a valid driver's license and are comfortable driving or transporting company vehicles when needed. Can work on-site in Lakewood and flex occasionally for evening or weekend events and launch needs. This role will probably not feel right if you… Need a complete team, mature systems, and a detailed playbook before you can move forward. Prefer to delegate every hands-on task or see setup, facilities, and customer follow-up as someone else's job. Enjoy internal management but do not want responsibility for enrollment growth, outreach, or community relationships. Want a predictable desk-only schedule with little ambiguity during the launch period. Why join Jungle now Real ownership: You will help shape the people, systems, customer experience, and local reputation from the beginning.
Visible impact:
Our work helps young drivers become safer and more confident—and gives parents peace of mind.
Room to grow:
Strong performance can create broader leadership opportunities as Jungle expands to additional Colorado locations. A close partnership with an experienced owner who will set direction, remove barriers, and value clear judgment and initiative. Rapid expansion into the Denver area with increased locations and responsibilities. Compensation and benefits $28/hour base salary plus a performance bonus of up to $10,000 annually, based on agreed launch, enrollment, customer-experience, compliance, and team goals. We provide reimbursement for Health Insurance, Retirement Savings matching, and flexible PTO. How to apply Apply through Indeed with your résumé and responses to the application questions.
