CED is a privately held company with more than 750 locations. Management Trainees explore all aspects of the electrical distribution field with a focus on business management, sales, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Key competencies include:
Business Management Sales Operations Leadership Electrical Supply Knowledge Warehouse & Business Operations Supplier Product Seminars Counter Sales Inventory Control Purchasing Customer Relations Each trainee's development is a combination of mentoring via on-the-job training and supplemented with classroom and online module training. Trainees will visit manufacturing partners, vendors, and participate in many training/networking opportunities. While the position provides real on-the-job training, there is also online training related to electrical systems, sales, and management. No prior industry experience is necessary: we give you the tools needed to be successful with CED. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding communication skills, is geographically flexible, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-faceted industry.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age Bachelor's Degree•will consider related experience in lieu of degree Current, valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future) Ability and willingness to relocate during and upon completion of the program
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Sales or customer service experience

WORKING CONDITIONS
Conditions vary based on the trainee's current segment of the training and will include warehouse, office, and external environments. During some segments, activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, and possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Office segments may include sitting for extended periods. Various segments will include some travel•both by car and by air.
