Position Overview Company Name Thomaston Housing Authority Job Title Executive Director Description The Thomaston Housing Authority is seeking an experienced and dedicated Executive Director Responsible for the daily operations of two affordable housing communities serving elderly and disabled residents.
Position Details:
Manage two properties: One USDA-RD (Rural Development). One State-funded property. Income-based housing programs. Approximately 20 hours per week per property (40 hours total). Paid vacation and holidays.
Qualifications:
Experience in affordable housing management preferred. Knowledge of USDA rural Development and/or state housing programs a plus. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience working with the elderly and disabled population is desirable. Ability to oversee property operations, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and resident relations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional committed to providing quality housing and services while ensuring compliance with all applicable program requirements.
