You help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by anticipating new and emerging risks, and using your expert judgement to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers and communities. As an Executive Director in Consumer and Community Banking Card, you will lead governance and oversight for card acquisitions risk—integrating forecasting, monitoring, and cross-functional controls to ensure consistent execution and strong risk outcomes across the Card Acquisitions organization. Your passion for risk rigor, structured problem-solving, and executive communication will thrive here.
Job Responsibilities:

Own centralized monitoring and analytics for Card Acquisitions Risk, including control reporting, executive MIS, and strategy performance monitoring with guardrails and test-and-learn oversight. Drive cross-team initiatives and controls that enable responsible risk management, including qualitative model governance, regulatory and exam readiness, internal control frameworks, and audit reporting. Establish and enforce consistent execution standards across acquisitions strategies, ensuring alignment with risk appetite, policy, and model/analytics controls. Build and automate executive-ready reporting, distilling complex analyses into clear insights, trends, and action plans for senior stakeholders. Coordinate with product, risk, finance, and marketing partners to resolve issues, close control gaps, and drive continuous improvement across forecasting, monitoring, and governance routines. Anticipate regulatory expectations; maintain strong documentation, and evidence for audits/exams. Mentor analysts and promote a culture of data-driven decisioning, operational excellence, and risk accountability. Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities 10+ years in risk management, credit risk, card acquisitions, finance, or analytics roles with demonstrated ownership of forecasting, Management Information Systems, or governance programs. Strong quantitative and analytical skills; proficiency with SQL/SAS/Python and data visualization tools; comfort translating technical outputs into business decisions. Demonstrated experience partnering across Finance and Marketing to connect loss forecasting to valuation and performance outcomes. Hands-on experience with control frameworks, qualitative models, issue management, audits/exams, and regulatory engagement. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence senior leaders and drive consensus. Structured problem-solver with bias for action; strong program management skills and attention to detail. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, finance, economics, or related field.
