Ownership Group About the Role We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to oversee a prestigious luxury high-rise residential property. This individual will lead daily operations, manage financial performance, develop a strong service team, and deliver an exceptional resident experience. Candidates must have both luxury hospitality or luxury hotel leadership experience and experience managing a luxury residential property. The ideal candidate combines the service standards of a luxury hotel with a strong understanding of residential operations and resident relationships. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Operations Oversee daily property operations, including concierge, maintenance, security, housekeeping, and amenities. Recruit, train, and lead a multidisciplinary team, establishing clear expectations for service and performance. Implement operating procedures that support efficiency, accountability, and consistently exceptional service. Maintain a visible presence throughout the property and serve as a hands-on leader. Resident Experience Build strong resident relationships through responsive communication, personalized service, and proactive attention to resident needs. Address resident concerns with professionalism, discretion, and timely follow-through. Develop resident programs, events, and amenity experiences that enhance satisfaction and retention. Apply luxury hospitality standards to every aspect of the residential experience. Financial Management Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets. Monitor financial performance, manage expenses, and identify opportunities to improve revenue and operational efficiency. Oversee billing, collections, vendor negotiations, and service contracts. Provide ownership with financial reports, budget updates, and recommendations. Property and Facilities Management Ensure residences, common areas, amenities, and building systems are maintained to exceptional standards. Oversee preventive maintenance, capital improvements, and vendor performance. Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate timely resolution of maintenance and operational issues. Maintain compliance with applicable building, health, and safety requirements. Strategic Planning and Ownership Relations Serve as the primary operational liaison to ownership. Develop short- and long-term plans to enhance property performance, resident satisfaction, and asset value. Report on operational results, resident feedback, staffing, and capital needs. Identify and implement improvements to service delivery and property operations. Required Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience across luxury hospitality and residential property management. Prior management or leadership experience within a luxury hotel or luxury hospitality environment is required. Prior experience managing a luxury residential property is also required. Proven success leading teams, managing budgets, and delivering exceptional guest and resident service. Strong understanding of building operations, maintenance programs, vendor management, and residential service delivery. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing a luxury high-rise residential building. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field. Relevant professional credentials, such as CPM, ARM, or CAM.
