Job Requirements:
2+ years of bicycle or electric vehicle repair & leadership experience. Strong mechanical, electrical, and operational troubleshooting skills. Comfortable using multimeters, diagnostic software, and shop tools. Proven ability to manage multiple repairs, workflows, and shop duties simultaneously. Clear, authoritative communicator with strong customer leadership skills. Prefer prior management, service writing, or service manager experience and experience in high-volume service or retail environments.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day operations and workflow of the service department. Oversee shop organization, efficiency, safety standards, and team productivity. Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex customer service inquiries. Diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems (brakes, bearings, drivetrains). Troubleshoot electrical components (motors, controllers, displays, batteries). Perform advanced repairs (motor swaps, custom wiring, harness rebuilds). Conduct thorough test rides and final quality assurance/safety checks. Manage service scheduling and strategically prioritize job queues. Communicate clearly with customers-providing estimates, timelines, and updates. Maintain accurate service documentation, repair histories, and warranty claims. Identify, source, and order parts and supplies from vendor partners. Track shipments, manage back orders, and control inventory levels.
Work Schedule:
Full - Time, hours to be discussed with employer.
Salary:
$20:00 per hour.
