High profile body shop with 4 bays and 2 paint booths seeking a full-time Automotive General Manager to oversee and motivate our talented team of professionals. Possible company share ownership to be discussed with the right applicant. The ideal candidate for this position should have a track record of successful management positions with at least three years of experience, and a strong desire to succeed with integrity. You will oversee daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of the leader in collision repair and take your career to the next level. We're looking for someone who can WOW every customer with the exceptional repairs performed by our winning team, quality inspect ever vehicle before it goes to the next repair stage, continue with education to excel in your job, work in a cooperation with others and achieve common goals, and continue to achieve a higher gross profit daily.
Qualifications:
3+ years' experience in a similar management role Proficiency with CCC ONE and Shop Boss programs Familiarity with various insurance direct repair guidelines I - car or ASE certifications are a bonus Excellent customer service skills Someone who can manage a busy and fast paced collision center Responsibilities Oversee daily operations, workflow, quality control, and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met
  • Participate in developing a proper repair plan for each vehicle
  • Repair estimates in accordance with insurance partners, vehicle manufactures and company guidelines
  • Maintain and execute a timely schedule before, during and after completion of repairs Recruit, hire, and train service, office, and sales/finance department staff to meet profit levels Assist with the creation of affordable advertising campaigns and programs to increase sales and brand visibility for the car dealership Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, managers, and marketing staff to establish sales processes and recommend daily unit sales Implement growth strategies that align with automotive group objectives by carefully assessing profit and loss while maintaining vehicle inventory that meets the needs of the local market Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and completion before sharing them with upper dealership management Learn and uphold all local, state, and federal regulations impacting vehicle sales, and the automotive industry as a whole
