Working closely with the General Manager, the AGM will oversee housekeeping operations, assist with guest service initiatives, coordinate maintenance needs, and help ensure the hotel consistently meets Hyatt brand standards. What You'll Do Direct and oversee all housekeeping operations, including room inspections, public area cleanliness, laundry operations, inventory control, and quality assurance. Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop housekeeping team members to support operational excellence and guest satisfaction. Ensure guest rooms and public areas consistently meet Hyatt brand standards and property expectations. Assist with front office operations, guest service initiatives, and daily hotel operations as needed. Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and provide leadership across all departments in the absence of the General Manager. Respond to guest concerns and resolve issues in a timely, professional, and service-focused manner. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, brand compliance, and overall presentation standards are maintained. Coordinate light maintenance requests and communicate facility needs with maintenance personnel, vendors, and contractors as needed. Monitor departmental productivity, labor costs, inventory levels, and operational efficiencies. Support employee engagement, retention, training, and performance management initiatives. Assist with the preparation and completion of daily operational reports, departmental tracking reports, payroll review, scheduling, and other administrative duties as needed. Complete or assist with required reports and operational tracking in the absence of department leaders to ensure continuity of hotel operations. Assist the General Manager with overall hotel operations, special projects, and the achievement of financial and guest satisfaction goals. What We Are Looking For Minimum 2 years of hotel supervisory or management experience. Strong housekeeping leadership experience preferred. Prior experience as an Assistant General Manager, or Rooms Operations Manager preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Basic knowledge of hotel maintenance and facility operations preferred. Hyatt or branded hotel experience is a plus.
