Job Description
About the Role FOUND Hotels is seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager to serve as the property's second-in-command and partner with the General Manager in leading daily operations. This role is ideal for an experienced hotel leader who is passionate about guest service, team development, operational excellence, and future growth toward a General Manager position. Key Responsibilities Lead daily hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance. Ensure Marriott brand standards and guest-service expectations are met. Resolve guest concerns and monitor satisfaction scores and reviews. Recruit, train, coach, and develop associates. Manage staffing, schedules, payroll, labor, and operating expenses. Conduct property and guest-room inspections. Serve as Manager on Duty and lead in the General Manager's absence. Support financial performance, operational planning, and Marriott initiatives. Follow up on maintenance, staffing, guest-service, and operational issues. Qualifications 3+ years of progressive hotel operations or rooms leadership experience. Previous experience as an AGM, Operations Manager, Front Office Manager, Rooms Division Manager, or similar. Strong leadership, guest-service, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with scheduling, payroll, labor, and expenses. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Marriott experience preferred.
