This role is responsible for leading day-to-day marina operations, managing staff, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and profitably. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong operational, customer service, and team management skills who thrives in a waterfront environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily marina operations , including docks, dry storage, fuel dock, and general facilities Manage, train, and supervise marina staff, including scheduling and performance management Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, tenants, and vendors Drive occupancy, leasing, and customer retention efforts Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies Manage marina appearance, cleanliness, and maintenance standards Coordinate equipment maintenance and vendor services Monitor operational performance and provide regular reporting to regional leadership Handle customer issues and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner Assist with budgeting, expense control, and operational planning Required Qualifications Previous marina management or related operations management experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proven customer service and problem-solving abilities Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Comfortable managing staff and making operational decisions Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling software Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours during peak season Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of marina operations, boating, or waterfront facilities Experience with dry storage, fuel docks, or marine equipment Familiarity with coastal or Gulf Coast marina environments Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to work in a marine environment, including docks and vessels Forklift experience What Bowline Marinas Offers Competitive compensation based on experience Growth opportunities within a growing marina management company Support from an experienced regional and corporate operations team Opportunity to lead a high-quality marina in St. Marks Florida Equal Opportunity Employer Bowline Marinas is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values a diverse workforce.
