Our client, a globally recognized and stable leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a strong General Manager to oversee their operation in Valdosta, Georgia. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced manufacturing executive who is ready to take full ownership of a facility's performance, lead a talented leadership team, and help guide a growing organization into its next phase. What You Will Be Doing Own the business: Take full P&L responsibility for the facility, driving revenue, profitability, cost control, and overall business performance.Lead the operation:
Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing facility, including operations, quality, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, and people.Build high-performing teams:
Lead and develop key functional managers while establishing clear goals, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.Drive growth and innovation:
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, leverage automation, implement lean manufacturing principles, and invest in new technology.Partner with customers:
Build strong customer and supplier relationships while ensuring exceptional quality, delivery, and service.Shape the future:
Evaluate and make strategic decisions around capital investments, infrastructure, equipment, and talent.Develop the organization:
Lead hiring, talent development, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.Set the vision:
Communicate the facility's strategy, goals, and results while creating alignment across the organization.Represent the company:
Serve as a key representative within the local business and community. What We Need From You 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across a manufacturing operation. Proven experience managing P&L, budgets, costs, and financial performance. Strong understanding of cost accounting and budgetary controls. Demonstrated success leading and developing cross-functional teams. Extensive experience with lean manufacturing and automation. Automotive and/or battery manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Strong business acumen, decision-making, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
