We're seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a local disposal company. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader who enjoys improving processes, developing high-performing teams, and driving business success. If you're a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a measurable impact, we'd love to hear from you! Hours Full-time, Monday-Friday, weekends as needed Location Kahului, Maui Pay $100,000 to $200,000 a year, Based on experience Responsibilities Lead and oversee all company operations, departments, and office staff. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability. Manage company budgets, analyze financial performance, and forecast monthly results. Oversee hiring, employee performance, coaching, disciplinary actions, and staffing decisions. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, permits, and certifications. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, government agencies, and business partners. Manage major equipment purchases, facility repairs, and property damage claims. Oversee insurance matters, including claims, vehicle coverage, and certificates of insurance. Conduct weekly and monthly leadership meetings to align teams and drive performance. Partner with department managers to establish goals and support long-term business growth. Collaborate with the Sales team on customer retention, new business opportunities, proposals, and bids. Promote a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven leadership experience managing multiple departments or business operations. Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to analyze budgets and financial statements. Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. Experience working with regulatory agencies and compliance requirements is a plus. Pre-employment drug test and State and Federal background check required.
