Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to join our retail team and drive operational excellence. In this pivotal role, you will support store management in overseeing daily store operations, leading sales teams, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your leadership will help foster a motivating environment that encourages team development, efficient inventory management, and seamless sales processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop managerial skills while contributing to the success of a vibrant retail environment. Duties Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management Lead and supervise retail sales teams to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing, onboarding, employee orientation, and training & development initiatives Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and stock management to optimize product availability Coordinate purchasing activities, manage vendor relationships, and handle procurement tasks to ensure cost-effective inventory levels Qualifications Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, inventory management, POS systems, and merchandising principles. Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in basic math for cash handling, pricing calculations, and inventory tracking; familiarity with retail math concepts Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently using time management skills while maintaining attention to detail.
