Management Associate

Reports to: General Manager

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Working alongside management team to plan and direct the work of the organization. Trainees will begin with a multi-departmental grassroots training program to fully prepare them to begin their career within a management position at Bar Processing Corporation. Candidates who excel with each assignment will be eligible for opportunities within the company as positions become available.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES 1.

Responsible for the implementation of Company policies and procedures 2. Assist the General Manager in development and implementation of the Corporate business plan 3. Build and maintain customer relationships with assigned accounts 4. Assist in managing various projects assigned by the General Manager 5. Record and evaluate production output and ensure alignment to Corporate Measurables and Metrics 6. Develop and implement actions of improvement 7. Learn functions of operations, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business 8. Monitor performance progress with management 9. Will learn and be expected to model and manage "Safety First" Culture including OSHA and Safety programs. 10. Monitor monthly plant performance measurables to provide guidance in future activities.

REQUIREMENTS

In addition to the general employment requirements of Bar Processing Corporation, the following is also required:

• Bachelor's Degree; Preferred; High School Diploma/GED Required; Three-to-Five (3-5) Years Related Experience; or Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience required
• Background in manufacturing, steel processing, or industrial plant management a plus.
• Working knowledge and experience with computers, typing, software programs and Microsoft application (Office Suite); required
• Effective decision-making ability, even in high stressful situations
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude with leadership mentality
• Strong desire to learn, grow and thrives on working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Ability to multitask, extremely organized, great attention to detail
• Excellent communication/written/verbal skills must be able to speak effectively over the phone and in-person at all levels.

Full-time Pay:

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
