Control Panel Wirer

Panel Wiring:

No experience no problem Wiring control panels and junction boxes according to schematics Install wire tags, labels, placards, etc. understand the artwork of running wires and placing labels consistently face out and straight. Assemble connectors. Solder connectors Ensure that wiring follows good practice, correct wire strip back and connection to terminals.

Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand.
• Regularly must use hands, hand wiring tools.
• Regularly must walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision.
• Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with exposure to hot, cold, and/or humid conditions.

Skills You will learn:

Ability to interpret electrical schematics and ladder diagrams. Wiring control panels, machine controls, motors etc.

• Use of continuity testers, troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• The artform of panel wiring
