Role Description The Wealth Management/Insurance Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based in Park Ridge, IL . The trainee will support experienced agents and financial representatives in serving clients who are planning for retirement, including participating in one-on-one consultations, gathering client information, and helping assess financial needs. Daily responsibilities include assisting with the development of insurance and investment strategies, preparing proposals and presentations, and maintaining accurate client records and documentation. The trainee will learn to explain product features, benefits, and risks, and help clients understand options for insurance coverage and investment planning. In addition, the role involves ongoing training, attending team meetings, following regulatory and compliance guidelines, and contributing to a culture of ethical, customer-focused service. Qualifications Candidates should possess potential skills in Financial Planning and Finance to analyze client needs and support the development of retirement strategies. Candidates should possess potential knowledge of Insurance to understand coverage options and assist in designing protection strategies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, conduct client consultations, and explain complex concepts clearly. High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidential and compliant client service. Ability to learn quickly, follow structured training programs, and work collaboratively within a team environment. Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred; relevant coursework or experience in financial services is a plus. Basic proficiency with office software, CRM tools, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
