ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER, GREEN TEMPLE DISPENSARY TROY, IL

Job Description:

The Assistant General Manager assists with the day-to-day operations of the dispensary and provides support for the management team. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring compliance of State regulations and company procedures. The role requires excellent leadership qualities and the ability to learn about inventory and products. Responsibilities Overseeing day-to-day operations of the dispensary, including sales, customer service, and inventory management. Assisting the General Manager in developing and implementing business strategies to increase revenue and profitability. Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations, including record-keeping, security, and product tracking. Hiring, training and supervising dispensary staff including budtenders and support staff. Creating and maintaining employee schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours. Managing customer relations and ensuring customer satisfaction, including handling complaints and addressing customer concerns. Developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to increase customer traffic and sales. Overseeing the dispensary's financial operations, Including budgeting, cash management, and financial reporting. Ensuring that the dispensary maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers. Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring that products are stocked and rotated appropriately. Working closely with vendor s and suppliers to ensure that the dispensary is stocked with high-quality products. Assisting the General Manager in preparing reports for senior management and stakeholders. Conducting regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates on company policies and procedures. Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and developments, as well as changes to state and local regulations. Performing other duties as assigned by the General Manager. Qualifications 1+ years of cannabis retail experience preferred. 3+ years of managerial experience preferred. 1+ years using Metric, Dutchie or similar inventory tracking software preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Accountability for others. Balanced and intuitive decision making. Practical and active thinking. Ability to lead an organized workplace. Additional Requirements Minimum of 21years of age. Must pass any and all required background checks. Must be and remain compliant with any and aII legaI or company regulations for working in the industry. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to15 pounds. This job function may Include walking or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching. Salary and Benefits $60,000 Health.
