Job Description

General Manager We are looking for a General Manager to join our team. As General Manager, you are the driving force behind your dealership's success. You'll lead every department — Sales, Service, Parts, and Office — ensuring each one operates at peak profitability while delivering an outstanding ownership experience to every customer. This is a high-visibility leadership role for someone who thrives on results and knows how to build winning teams. Responsibilities Hire, train, and motivate all department managers; conduct formal performance evaluations at regularly scheduled intervals. Lead daily operations by monitoring key metrics (DOC), setting monthly and annual goals with department heads, and holding regular management meetings. Drive customer satisfaction by implementing programs that maintain CSI scores at or above franchise standards; personally resolve escalated customer and associate complaints. Oversee financial health by reviewing weekly reports, ensuring accurate and timely monthly financial statement submissions, and approving purchase orders and compensation plans. Partner with lending institutions and manufacturer personnel to develop and maintain strong business relationships. Lead dealership marketing and merchandising strategy, including advertising programs and promotional planning. Ensure all policies and procedures are clearly communicated, understood, and followed across every department. Requirements 2-4 years of dealership management experience, or equivalent combination of leadership experience in the automotive industry. Proven track record of driving profitability across multiple departments. Strong financial acumen — ability to read and act on financial statements, forecasts, and DOC reports. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
