Where is the work:
On-Site (5 days) What's in it for you: The General Manager, Life Science Solutions (LSS) will have responsibility for overall business performance, strategic growth and continued focus on delivering customer-centered, sustainable cold storage and refrigeration solutions. LSS is comprised of three brands: FARRAR, Helmer Scientific, and Diversified Laboratory Repair delivering expertise and innovation in precision temperature management by preserving critical materials in healthcare and biosciences. From powering groundbreaking medical discoveries to safeguarding essential vaccines, blood therapies, and medications, LSS has over 600 associates working at the cutting edge of the health and life sciences fields. This position reports directly to the Thermo King Americas Business Unit President and will be based in Noblesville, IN.
What you will do:
The LSS General Manager is responsible for the overall strategy development and execution owning the LSS business P&L. This includes direct leadership of sales, manufacturing operations, field service & contracting operations, product management, engineering, and other supporting functions. Develop and execute a corporate growth strategy for LSS and deliver on profitability goals by setting a compelling vision for LSS. Manage LSS P&L and financials including forecasting, inventory and investments. Develop and grow customer service culture to enable a world class customer experience. Deliver innovation to grow the share of the addressable market for equipment, contracting, and services. Partner closely with Thermo King Americas Business Unit functional leaders to drive collaboration on targeted areas for joint value creation. Represent LSS in all Business Units meetings ensuring a coordination of efforts and consistency of messaging. Build an engaged and motivated team creating a work environment where our people uplift each other, make an impact on our planet, and thrive at work and at home. Develop talent and build capability for future succession opportunities across the LSS and Thermo King Americas Business Unit.
What you will bring:

10+ years of General Management experience
Education Standard:
Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred Extensive experience with P&L leadership is preferred Experience developing and managing transformation initiatives at an enterprise or business unit level, from inception through implementation Extensive experience managing large teams of people in a complex multi-channel and multi-customer segment environment Strong change management skills Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, mentor and team player Strong influencing skills at all organizational levels Collaborative and participative style Team-oriented, proactive change agent with a hands-on, collaborative approach in developing, implementing and sustaining best practice Experience partnering with senior leadership Demonstrated business and financial acumen coupled with proven problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to extract best path forward from a broad set of information and alternatives Comfortable working in and through ambiguity, with ability to create clarity Strong organization skills and bias for action Positive minded, self-motivated and analytics-passionate team player holding the right communication skills Achievement-driven with a customer orientation and a track record of outstanding customer feedback Ability to drive business results through building effective partnerships with relevant stakeholders
