Our client is seeking an experienced General / Operations Manager to lead the operational, financial, and strategic direction of a well-established industrial service company specializing in valve repair and service. Responsibilities Provide overall leadership for daily operations, including shop and field service activities Drive operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction Manage company profitability through budgeting, P&L oversight, cost control, and revenue growth initiatives Develop and execute strategic plans that support long-term business objectives Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable safety and quality standards Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, scheduling, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction Manage workforce planning, equipment, tooling, and inventory to meet operational demands Build and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting business development and regional growth Partner with customers on service agreements, contract negotiations, and long-term account management Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Qualifications 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in industrial operations, valve services, manufacturing, maintenance, or a related industry Strong understanding of industrial valve repair, testing, maintenance, or related mechanical equipment Demonstrated success managing P&L, budgets, operational performance, and business growth Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with employees, customers, and executive leadership Experience using ERP systems and monitoring operational KPIs Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field preferred API or valve inspection certifications are a plus If you're an experienced operations leader ready to make a significant impact while leading a talented team, we encourage you to apply today.
