Join Our PF SPAM Family as an Assistant Manager! At PF SPAM, LLC, we're proud to operate grocery stores throughout South Louisiana and Mississippi, with a strong focus on community and teamwork. We are currently looking for reliable and talented Assistant Managers for our Piggly Wiggly- Hammond store. The ideal candidates are passionate about leadership and customer service! As part of our management team, you'll work closely with Store Managers to ensure smooth daily operations and outstanding performance, while helping foster a positive and supportive store environment. Lead byExample :
Assist the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring all staff maintain company policies and procedures.Customer Service Excellence :
Encourage exceptional customer interactions, ensuring prompt and courteous service from all team members.Team Collaboration :
Support staff and work with fellow managers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and standards are upheld.Operational Oversight :
Manage cash handling, inventory, and product rotation to maintain fresh, well-stocked merchandise. Ensure all pricing is accurate and up to date.Safety and Cleanliness :
Promote a safe and clean store environment by following and enforcing safety protocols and housekeeping standards.Mentor and Train :
Help train and guide employees, promoting a positive work environment and teamwork.What We're Looking For:
3+ years of experience in the supermarket industry or equivalent leadership experience, with a strong understanding of store operations. A high school education is required, with a college background or management training program experience preferred. Excellent communication and math skills to handle sales transactions, financial projections, and inventory management. Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with a focus on supporting both employees and customers. The ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50lbs, and working in various weather conditions. Willingness to obtain a Responsible Vendor Server Permit within 45 days of hire. Join Our Management Team Today!
