    Role:
    VulcanForms is seeking a Vice President, Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) to lead and elevate enterprise-wide health, safety, security, environmental, and sustainability programs. This executive will establish a world-class safety culture across VulcanForms? advanced digital manufacturing footprint and serve as a strategic partner to engineering, production, and executive leadership. The
    VP, HSSE
    will ensure facilities utilizing multi-kilowatt lasers, advanced robotics, combustible metal powders, automated systems, and precision post-processing operate at the highest levels of physical safety, environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This role is critical to supporting rapid growth, new facility development, and continued expansion across the organization.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, launch, and champion an enterprise-wide safety management operating framework
    • Develop and analyze health, safety, environmental, and security metrics and establish meaningful KPIs
    • Own and lead the enterprise Near Miss Program to proactively identify and eliminate hazards
    • Oversee incident investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and workers? compensation claim management
    • Partner with Human Resources and Legal to optimize return-to-work programs and minimize enterprise liability
    • Lead executive risk reviews and align production growth with strategic safety and compliance investments
    • Oversee safety systems for advanced material handling, including titanium, Inconel, and other industrial powders
    • Ensure compliance with NFPA combustible dust standards and implement effective containment and housekeeping controls
    • Guide laser safety programs for multi-kilowatt automated laser systems in accordance with
    ANSI Z136
    standards
    • Oversee machine guarding, safety interlocks, and automated process safety systems
    • Standardize regulatory and licensing frameworks for powered industrial vehicles, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts
    • Ensure site-level trainers are qualified and multi-site certification records are maintained
    • Standardize safety-critical work instructions, operational procedures, and continuous improvement practices across facilities
    • Collaborate with Engineering to connect technical process safety requirements with shop-floor execution
    • Lead enterprise sustainability initiatives, including renewable energy integration and waste minimization
    • Develop and manage corporate waste reduction targets and resource circularity programs
    • Own material mapping initiatives across the manufacturing lifecycle
    • Manage customer restricted substance lists and oversee the tracking of restricted chemicals and substances
    • Design and implement automated environmental monitoring and waste-tracking systems
    • Lead the management and compliance of multi-site industrial environmental and air quality permits
    • Form and direct a Security team responsible for protecting manufacturing facilities, assets, employees, and intellectual property
    • Implement access controls, badging systems, perimeter security, and ITAR-compliant facility protocols
    • Provide strategic oversight of federal compliance, serialization processes, audit readiness, and ATF requirements
    • Maintain collaborative relationships with regulatory agencies and ensure timely, accurate documentation
