Overview An established, high-volume collision repair facility in the Greater Boston / MetroWest Massachusetts area is seeking an experienced General Manager / Collision Center Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the business. The facility is well established, I-CAR Gold Class, and participates in multiple insurance/DRP programs. We are looking for a hands-on leader who understands both the operational and financial sides of a successful collision repair business. Responsibilities Manage the complete day-to-day operation of the collision center Lead and hold accountable technicians, painters, estimators and support staff Manage production flow, scheduling and vehicle delivery commitments Oversee estimating, supplements, parts coordination and insurer communication Maintain and improve DRP performance, cycle time and CSI Monitor labor productivity, parts, paint/material usage and gross profit Handle escalated customer and insurance issues Maintain strong quality control and minimize comebacks/rework Conduct daily production meetings Recruit, train and develop employees as needed Provide ownership with clear weekly operational and financial reporting Identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency Requirements Significant collision repair management experience Strong knowledge of collision estimating and production management Experience with CCC ONE or comparable collision management systems Strong understanding of insurance claims and DRP requirements Massachusetts Auto Damage Appraiser License preferred Proven ability to manage employees and maintain accountability Comfortable managing KPIs, gross profit and shop performance Strong communication and customer-service skills Honest, organized and capable of operating independently This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced collision professional who wants the authority and opportunity to run an established operation as their own, while working directly with ownership. Compensation Competitive six-figure base salary, approximately $100,000-$120,000+ depending on experience, plus a substantial performance-based bonus opportunity.
