Job Summary:
Job Description Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) powers Oracle's global cloud services through highly available, large-scale, enterprise-grade data center environments. The Data Center Infrastructure Operations / Facilities team plays a critical role in sustaining OCI's performance, security, and operational resilience by ensuring infrastructure systems operate reliably at scale. You will join a technically rigorous organization with a culture grounded in operational excellence, disciplined processes, and continuous improvement, where infrastructure reliability, safety, and execution quality are foundational to delivering cloud services worldwide. Role Overview The Chief of Staff (CoS) is a senior strategic and operational partner to the Vice President of Data Center Facility Operations. Acting as a force multiplier, the CoS drives alignment, execution rigor, and clear decision-making across OCI's global data center delivery portfolio, directly influencing infrastructure reliability, security, and growth. Key Responsibilities Manage executive priorities, staff agendas, and strategic initiative tracking. Coordinate cross-functional programs and special projects, ensuring timely execution and clear accountability. Prepare executive communications, reports, stakeholder updates, and risk/investment justifications. Analyze business issues to surface actionable insights for OCI leadership decision-making.
Oversee the rhythm-of-business:
executive meetings, operating reviews, dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting. Identify and address systemic gaps to improve delivery predictability, cost control, and schedule adherence. Partner with regional leaders, PMO, and finance to monitor portfolio health, execution risks, and capital deployment. Facilitate annual planning, quarterly business reviews, and long-range capacity strategy. Lead organizational effectiveness efforts, including workforce planning, onboarding, leadership development, and special projects for governance and process enhancement. Responsibilities Ideal Candidate Profile Experience supporting senior executives in strategy, operations, or large-scale program roles, preferably in high-growth or complex environments. Demonstrated ability to operate amidst ambiguity with high judgment and discretion. Strong analytical, organizational, and executive communication skills; can synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). 8+ years of experience in data center delivery, infrastructure programs, consulting, or strategic operations. Proven record managing cross-functional initiatives and driving business outcomes in fast-paced environments.
