Automotive / Collision Repair The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Collision Repair Center General Manager to lead the performance and day-to-day operations of a busy, established automotive collision repair facility. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone with a strong background in collision repair/body shop management who understands how to balance operational excellence, customer service, team development and commercial performance. You will have overall responsibility for the success and profitability of the Collision Center, leading the management team and associates while identifying opportunities to increase sales, improve productivity and grow net profit. Key Responsibilities As General Manager, you will: Lead the day-to-day operation of the Collision Repair Center, providing clear direction and support to managers and associates. Take ownership of the Center's financial and operational performance. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales volume, profitability and overall business performance. Create and deliver business plans, forecasts and regular performance reports. Monitor key performance indicators and use data to identify opportunities for improvement. Lead team meetings and ensure objectives and expectations are clearly communicated. Recruit, coach, train and develop team members to build a high-performing operation. Work collaboratively with other departments across the wider automotive business to maximize commercial opportunities. Drive high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. Set the standard for professionalism, enthusiasm, productivity and accountability. Ensure appropriate follow-up of customer appointments, enquiries and calls. About You We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate: Previous management experience within a collision repair center, auto body shop or similar automotive repair environment . A proven track record of increasing sales and improving Collision Center profitability. Strong commercial and operational management skills. Excellent leadership and people-development capabilities. The ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues and business partners. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Confident negotiation and presentation skills. A results-driven approach with the ability to hold yourself and others accountable for performance. A valid driver's license and appropriate insurability. Physical & Travel Requirements The role involves a combination of office and Collision Center activity, including sitting, standing and walking throughout the working day. There may occasionally be a requirement to stoop, kneel, crouch or lift up to 25 lbs. Approximately 5-10% travel may be required.
