Full-Time (Days, Evenings, Weekends) About the Role Are you a natural leader who loves bringing creative experiences to life? We are looking for an energetic Studio Manager to guide our team and foster a welcoming, hands-on environment for artists of all ages. In this role, you will lead daily studio operations, host dynamic workshops and events, and ensure every guest leaves with a memorable creation. No prior kiln or specialized glass experience? We provide full hands-on technical training for all art mediums.What You'll Do Lead Studio Operations:
Supervise, train, and support daily studio staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences.Host & Instruct:
Facilitate engaging group events, including children's birthday parties, adult reservations, and specialized creative workshops.Guide Guest Creations:
Help daily walk-in guests explore various art mediums, including pottery, glass fusing, mosaics, canvas painting, and stoneware.Manage Studio Technicals:
Learn and oversee the operation of studio kilns, material inventory, and project firing schedules.Maintain Studio Standards:
Keep the workspace organized, fully stocked, vibrant, and welcoming.Inventory Management:
Ordering, receiving What You Bring Proven team leadership or management experience in a customer-facing environment (retail, hospitality, or events). Exceptional communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment. Comfort working with diverse groups, from young children to adult parties. A natural enthusiasm for arts and crafts (a degree or formal background in Art is a bonus, but passion and willingness to learn matter most).
