Assistant General Manager - Youth Gymnastics Facility

Dominique Dawes Academy is hiring a Program Manager to join our on-site leadership team at our (new!) Silver Spring location. This role partners closely with the General Manager to lead high-quality gymnastics and ninja programming, develop coaches, and deliver an exceptional experience for children and families. This person is the second in command at the Silver Spring location, and serves as the in-house gymnastics expert - owning program execution, coach development, and day-to-day floor operations—while helping drive enrollment, retention, and satisfaction. Why You'll Love This Role You'll shape the programs kids and families experience every day You'll lead, mentor, and develop coaches, not just fill schedules You'll have real influence over curriculum, quality, and floor flow You'll be part of the core leadership team, not siloed on the floor Every day is active, social, and hands-on—no desk-only monotony You'll work for a mission-driven brand that prioritizes confidence, safety, and fun What You'll Do Coach & Team Leadership Supervise, onboard, schedule, and develop coaches and staff Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Programming, Curriculum & Floor Management Partner with leadership to update curriculum and roll out lesson plans Coordinate floor schedules, rotations, and program change-overs Ensure classes run on time and meet quality and safety standards Customer Experience Create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for families Serve as a point of contact for parents, resolving questions and concerns Maintain clear communication around programs, progress, and updates Programs & Events Support camps, open gyms, birthday parties, and special events Ensure programs are properly staffed, safe, and well-executed Uphold Dominique Dawes Academy standards across all offerings Facility, Safety & Operations Monitor gym cleanliness, equipment readiness, and safety compliance Assist with safety audits and incident follow-up Support daily operations, enrollments, and administrative needs Contribute ideas that support growth, retention, and program improvement What We're Looking For Strong gymnastics knowledge and experience (coach, athlete, or both) Background in gymnastics, youth enrichment, fitness, or youth development Leadership or management experience preferred Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Customer-focused with excellent communication skills Comfortable balancing floor leadership with operational responsibilities Requirements Gymnastics experience (required) CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days) Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and engaging training environment Basic knowledge of enrollment, sales, or service-based operations a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with spotting when needed Schedule & Environment Onsite role supporting daily gym operations Evenings and weekends required based on classes, camps, and events Fast-paced, high-energy environment with children, families, and staff Collaborative, team-oriented culture Apply today to help lead programs where kids build confidence, skills, and joy—every single day.

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
