Our organization is currently seeking a General Manager at our new Philadelphia location. A successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: Overall responsibility for the local operation Ensure customers, dealers and strategic partners are supported in a manner that delivers exceptional customer experience Create a strategy, annual budget, and business plan Establish goals and objectives for sales, inventory, and production to support the plan Responsible for the operation's performance to key business metrics Responsible for all local HR, staffing and safety activities Ensure Safety for all employees, customers, visitors, etc. Establish budgets that are continuously monitored for performance to budget Responsible for leading and participating in continuous improvement efforts Lead by example to develop and foster a one-team approach environment Develop and strengthen employees and break down any roadblocks that are identified Responsible for approving all payroll-related items for the employees (PTO, UTM, etc.) Support collaboration with Inside Sales and Fleet Account Executives to foster a one-team approach environment to enhance the overall customer experience The key behaviors required for this role are: Integrity, leadership, and team development Foster team environment Must be able to handle complex assignments and multitask Results-oriented; Exceeds goals and pushes self and others for results Understand the local market and have strong knowledge of vocational trades Expert on process compliance and all sales tools Identify and communicate risk immediately Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively (written, verbal, and technical device) Education /skills required for this role: Bachelor?s Degree preferred; company will consider a combination of education and experience Previous Leadership experience with a strong ability to develop people is preferred Previous experience in Microsoft Office, Email and Calendar skills is preferred
Physical Requirements:
Frequent bending/twisting at the neck and trunk area Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds (with assistance) Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Frequent standing, sitting, walking, carrying of items, reaching, handling, kneeling, crouching, bending Frequent squatting, stooping, or kneeling, and reaching above the head and reaching forward Continuous use of hand strength to grasp tools and climb on to ladders and into vehicles

Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a ?Driver? as defined in Adrian Steel Fleet Corporate Driving Policy Valid driver?s license Acceptable driving record (Adrian Steel authorized)
