This role is designed for individuals looking to develop their leadership skills and gain comprehensive experience in retail/cafe management. The Management Trainee will work closely with experienced trainers and managers to learn the ins and outs of store operations, including customer service, inventory management, and team leadership. This position offers a unique opportunity for growth within the company. Duties Assist in daily store operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and satisfaction. Participate in employee orientation and training programs to develop a knowledgeable team. Engage in recruiting efforts, including interviewing candidates and assisting with onboarding processes. Manage inventory control by overseeing stock levels, ordering supplies, and conducting regular audits. Utilize POS systems for transactions, cash handling, and reporting sales data. Supervise staff during shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Implement marketing initiatives to drive sales and promote store events. Develop skills in budgeting, retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management. Requirements Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members. Previous experience in retail/cafe management or assistant manager roles is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and customer service best practices. Knowledge of inventory management techniques and retail sales strategies. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Leadership qualities with a focus on team management and development. Proficiency in administrative tasks related to scheduling, payroll, and bookkeeping is advantageous. A commitment to learning about various aspects of store operations including merchandising, stocking, and shift management. This position provides an excellent foundation for those looking to advance their career in retail/cafe management while gaining valuable experience across multiple facets of the business. Ability to take total control of the store, solve problems, and provide necessary assistance to ensure store's smooth operation.
