Job Description Provide leadership and strategic direction for parts departments across multiple dealership locations. Develop and implement regional parts sales, inventory, and profitability goals. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including gross profit, inventory turns, obsolescence, fill rates, and customer satisfaction. Ensure proper inventory management practices to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize obsolete inventory. Lead recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management of Parts Managers and department personnel. Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers. Analyze financial statements and operational reports to identify opportunities for increased profitability and efficiency. Establish best practices and standardized operating procedures across all locations. Collaborate with Service, Sales, and Fixed Operations leadership to improve overall dealership performance. Conduct regular dealership visits to evaluate operational effectiveness and ensure compliance with company standards. Implement loss prevention and inventory control measures. Oversee parts purchasing strategies and vendor negotiations. Support new dealership acquisitions, transitions, and operational integrations as required.
