Role Description Charge-X USA is seeking an Entry Level / Trainee Project Manager to support EV charging infrastructure projects at our Dearborn Heights, Michigan office. This is an in-person role designed for someone who is organized, dependable, willing to learn, and interested in growing within the EV charging industry. The trainee will work directly with internal team members to help manage project coordination, track timelines, organize documents, communicate with clients and partners, and support day-to-day project operations. This role is intended for someone looking to build a long-term career in project management within a fast-growing industry. Current students are encouraged to apply, including motivated 3rd and 4th year engineering students interested in developing into a long-term project coordination or project management role. Training and Qualification Period This position includes a 6-month qualification period intended to evaluate the employee's performance, consistency, professionalism, adaptability, and overall fit within Charge-X USA. Continued employment will be based on the employee's ability to learn the role, meet expectations, take ownership of responsibilities, and contribute effectively to the team and company standards. Core Responsibilities (Explicit Requirements) The Entry Level / Trainee Project Manager will assist with: Supporting project managers with active EV charging projects Tracking project timelines, statuses, and follow-ups Coordinating with utilities, municipalities, contractors, and internal team members Organizing and maintaining project documents, applications, and records Following up on missing items needed for project progress Helping prepare project updates and internal reports Assisting with scheduling meetings, calls, and site-related coordination Learning internal workflows related to permitting, utility coordination, and installation planning Communicating professionally with customers, vendors, and partners Performing general administrative and project support tasks as assigned Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Good communication and follow-up skills Willingness to learn and take direction Professional attitude and strong work ethic Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment Basic computer skills including email, spreadsheets, and document management Ability to work in person at our Dearborn Heights, MI 48127 location High School Diploma (3rd-4th year Engineering Students are encouraged to apply) Core Values At Charge-X USA, we operate with: Integrity Commitment Professionalism Communication Collaboration Expertise Confidentiality At Charge-X USA, we take pride in building a culture where professionalism and approachability go hand in hand.
