Job Description:
Provides training and clinical supervision for undergraduate and graduate practicum students, as well as undergraduate and graduate student staff, who provide direct services to University students with autism. Provides direct services to University students with autism and their families, including assessment of skills and implementation of interventions. Develops, oversees, and evaluates programming that aims to prepare and support students with autism to attend college and fosters a connection with the University. Develops and maintains management systems for the Autism Services Center. Assists with the development of models of service to meet the needs of students, families, and to collaborate effectively with campus and community partners. Communicates with and provides training for campus and community partners. Consults and collaborates with other clinicians and campus partners. Conducts evaluation activities to measure the effectiveness of interventions used with young adults with autism on campus. Often this is done in conjunction with undergraduate, master's, and doctoral research within the center. Actively identifies potential barriers to success for students with autism and collaborates with faculty, administrators, staff, and other students to reduce or eliminate these barriers. Supports incoming students and families with the transition to University life. Participates in student recruitment and yield efforts. Maintains budgets and fosters relationships with outside organizations in an effort to secure extramural funding to further support the program.Short Job Description:
Master's degree in related field from an accredited institution. Three years' relevant experience. Supervisory or lead experience in behavior analytic service. Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Experience in evaluation, budget forecasting, and strategic planning. Board Certified Behavior Analyst; eligible for licensure as a behavior analyst in the State of Michigan.Job Ref:
