Education:
Bachelor's degree in business management, horticulture, or a related field or equivalent experience is required. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., in business management or industry-related areas) is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the lawn care, landscaping, or chemical services industry, with at least 5 years in management. Proven experience in managing large teams, driving revenue growth, and overseeing complex operations. Experience with P&L management, budgeting, and strategic business planning. Obtaining and maintaining applicator license(s) by applicable state(s) is required.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to develop and execute business strategies that drive growth and profitability. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and ensuring cost control. Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. Excellent customer service and client relationship management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and business management software. Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of operational best practices and continuous improvement strategies.
General Responsibilities:
Supervise the management of daily field operations, ensuring all services are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Lead, manage, and motivate a team of supervisors and support staff to ensure they meet performance and quality goals. Oversee the management of scheduling, ensuring optimal route planning and resource utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize operational costs. Responsible for management of branch inventory (chemicals, tools, and equipment). Monitor service delivery to ensure that customer expectations are met, resolve service issues promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience. Report performance results to senior management and implement corrective actions as necessary. Develop and manage the branch budget, focusing on cost control and maximizing profitability. Ensure that the company adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pesticide use, chemical application, and worker safety. Manage audits and inspections to maintain compliance.
