Position Description and Purpose The New Business Manager position is responsible for operations within the annuities and life insurance case management teams, and the licensing and contracting team. This role involves working closely with financial advisors, broker dealers, clients, annuity carriers and insurance carriers to ensure smooth processing and management of annuity and life insurance applications and contracts. This role will coach the teams and oversee the entire process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of cases, while providing exceptional service to all stakeholders and internal team members.Organizational Relationships Supervisor:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Insurance, or related fieldExperience:
3-4 years in annuities and life insurance and 2 years of leading people and teams Experience, Skills and Abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Strong desire to coach and lead people. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. High level of integrity and professionalism. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Problem solving skills to be able to analyze client and carrier needs and pro-vide innovative solutions to meet those needs. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance. Strong knowledge of insurance and annuity products, underwriting processes, suitability processes and industry regulations. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to man-age multiple cases simultaneously with a high level of attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Proactive thinking to anticipate needs and prepare accordingly, as well as flexibility to adjust changing priorities.Job Duties and Responsibilities Case Management:
Manage the end-to-end process of insurance and annuity cases, including new applications, underwriting, and policy issuance. Coordinate with financial advisors, brokers, clients, and insurance carriers to gather necessary documents and information. Monitor the progress of each case, providing regular updates to advisors and clients. Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding requirements, maintaining a proactive approach to avoid delaysDocumentation & Compliance:
Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of all documentation submitted for insurance and annuity cases. Ensure all applications comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Maintain accurate and organized records of all cases, updating systems and databases as necessary. Support IT initiatives as needed for testing, validating data and providing feedback.Client & Advisor Support:
Serve as the primary point of contact for advisors, broker dealers, carriers and clients regarding case status, requirements, and questions. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve any issues or discrepancies.Process Improvement:
Generate and analyze reports related to case activity, processing times, and other key metrics. Identify trends or areas for improvement and suggest process and/or technology enhancements to increase efficiency. Create process documentation and update existing process documents. Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members and conduct ongoing training for operations team members. Stay current on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes to ensure best practices are followed.Leading and Coaching:
Train case managers on processes, best practices, policies and procedures. Ensure the team is aware of carrier and product changes in a timely manner. Plan workload and monitor capacity and accuracy of case managers' output. Conduct performance reviews and provide timely constructive feedback to the teams and individuals as needed. Schedule and lead team and individual meetings to encourage collaboration and information sharing.
