Job Description

Are you an experienced General Manager looking for a rewarding leadership opportunity with a growing company? Lily's Play-N-Stay is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our pet care facilities. This is a senior leadership position for someone who has successfully managed teams, operated a business or department, and understands how to balance people, operations, customer service, and accountability while maintaining high standards. While pet care experience is preferred, it is not required . We are willing to teach the pet care side of the business to the right candidate. What we cannot teach is strong leadership, operational excellence, and a proven ability to manage people and processes. About Us Lily's Play-N-Stay is a premier pet care company offering daycare, boarding, grooming, training, and enrichment services. We also operate Lily's Rescue Rehab, a nonprofit rehabilitation program dedicated to helping shelter dogs receive the care and support they need before finding forever homes. Our reputation has been built on exceptional care, strong relationships, and a commitment to doing things the right way. What You'll Do Lead the daily operations of Lily's Play-N-Stay. Manage, coach, and develop department leaders and team members. Ensure our high standards of pet care, customer service, cleanliness, and safety are consistently met. Maintain staffing, scheduling, performance management, and accountability systems. Oversee operational efficiency and execution across multiple departments. Resolve client concerns and ensure a positive customer experience. Track business performance and key operational metrics. Work closely with ownership to execute company goals and initiatives. Keep a pulse on Lily's Rescue Rehab operations and support its mission as needed. Protect and strengthen the Lily's brand through every decision and interaction.
Qualifications Required:
Previous General Manager experience with responsibility for leading teams and overseeing daily operations. Proven experience managing employees, performance, and accountability. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to uphold and enforce company standards consistently. Preferred but
Not Required:
Experience in pet care, animal welfare, veterinary medicine, boarding, daycare, grooming, training, or a related field. Experience working around dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Physical Requirements Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the facility as needed. This is not a desk job, and the role requires you to be on your feet most of the day. Ability to assist in emergency situations involving pets or facility operations. $51,106.04 - $61,547.06 per year
