Job Summary The Executive Director is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the overall operations, growth, and sustainability of the organization. This role involves providing visionary leadership, managing staff and resources, and ensuring the organization fulfills its mission effectively. The Executive Director acts as the primary representative to stakeholders, partners, and the community, fostering relationships that support organizational goals. Compensation for this position is based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the organization's mission and vision. Lead and manage day-to-day operations to ensure organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Oversee financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and resource allocation. Build and maintain strong relationships with board members, partners, donors, and community stakeholders. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies. Lead fundraising efforts and cultivate new revenue streams to support organizational growth. Supervise staff recruitment, development, and performance management. Promote a positive organizational culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and accountability. Represent the organization publicly at events, conferences, and meetings to enhance visibility and reputation. Skills Proven leadership experience in managing teams and organizational operations. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial oversight. Ability to inspire and motivate staff while fostering a collaborative work environment. Adaptability to changing priorities and organizational needs. Experience in fundraising or resource development is advantageous. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of balancing strategic vision with operational execution while fostering a collaborative environment that advances the organization's mission.
