Job Description
Position Summary We are looking for a dependable, motivated Location Lead Trainee who is passionate about dogs, people, and developing leadership skills. This position is designed to train and prepare the right candidate for a future Location Lead role. The Trainee will work alongside the Location Lead and management team to learn daily operations, team leadership, customer service, animal care, and facility management. Responsibilities Assist with daily facility operations and ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment. Help provide excellent care, safety, and enrichment for all dogs. Support team members with training, communication, and daily tasks. Learn scheduling, staffing, inventory, and other operational responsibilities. Provide friendly, professional customer service and assist with customer concerns. Assist with incident reports, deposits, and other required documentation. Help enforce company policies, safety standards, and procedures. Assist with emergency situations and operational decisions as directed by management. Participate in team meetings and help maintain a positive workplace culture. Learn and take on additional leadership responsibilities as skills and experience develop. Qualifications Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus, but not required. Experience with dogs, animal care, customer service, hospitality, retail, or similar work is preferred. Reliable, organized, and willing to learn. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable taking initiative and accepting feedback. Passionate about dogs and providing excellent customer service. As the Trainee demonstrates reliability, strong judgment, and leadership ability, they will gradually take on additional responsibilities with the goal of advancing into a Location Lead position .
