Assistant Manager

Job description Large Wholesale / Retail Landscape & Sod Supply Center in Gulfport, MS is looking for an experienced person to assist the Manager in daily operations of the Store. Strong Management / Assistant Management experience and Sales experience, 2 to 4 years in Landscape products - Hardscapes, pavers, natural stone, wall block, sod and plants Required . Previous management experience in working with and motivating employees to accomplish daily tasks and goals of the Store. Must have knowledge and experience in maintaining Inventory levels, product merchandising, and logistics. Well versed in handling standard opening and closing procedures and deposits. Must be able to assist the Manager in day to day Management Operations and handle all facets of operating the store if Manager is out. Outstanding communication skills a must. Need to be organized, good computer knowledge, detail orientated, self-starter with excellent customer service skills. Experience in the Landscape Industry Required . Bachelor Degree in Horticulture or Agribusiness preferred. Chance for personal growth and advancement in a strong multi decades old Company.
