Job Description

The Speedpark at Concord Mills is looking for an Assistant Manager to join the Management team. This position requires the ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment. The role of Assistant Manager at The Speedpark is that of an active leader. Every effort must be made to operate a safe, professional and fun place for children and families. Key responsibilities and requirements will include, but are not limited to, the following: Reports directly to General Manager Assists in overseeing a team 50 or more team members. Support all company policies and procedures Responsible for employee development including : training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work. Ensuring an exceptional guest experience for all guest interactions in person, on the phone, and via email. Engage and lead by example with customer service and sales. Take the steps to assist the team in the attainment of sales goals. Works with the General Manager on hiring, scheduling and staffing needs. Assist employees with daily tasks as needed. Opening, Closing, and Daily operations : cash bank deposits, managing an employee schedule, reconciling sales, guest relations, employee relations, inspections, overall cleanliness and appearance, implementing and executing training programs and procedures. Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization. Applicants should enjoy working outdoors with the public as well as being interactive with employees and guests.
