As Assistant Manager, you are responsible for assisting in overseeing and managing the overall daily operations of the Massage Envy clinic and, therefore, are vital to the success of a Massage Envy clinic.

Front Desk Sales & Customer Experience :

Working personal shifts based on the needs of the clinic. Performing at an exemplary level in terms of performance and professionalism at all times. Achieve 25%or higher personal sales closing, and sell at least 10 memberships per month. Assist in providing GRAND customer service to members/guests and ensure that all team members adhered to these practices as well. Provide actionable feedback to employees based on customer survey responses. Resolve escalated customer issues and clinic maintenance needs in a timely manner and within maximum of $100 financial impact, unless otherwise approved.

Leadership & Development :

Assist in managing team members through consistent evaluation of performance with continuous coaching, including but not limited to role playing with each team member during every shift. When necessary, assist in on-boarding wellness advisors by following a strict training schedule. Assist in the on-boarding of all therapeutic staff members while pairing with Clinic Manager and Lead Therapists/Estheticians. Utilize Talk-To-Me process with all wellness advisors and estheticians on a monthly basis with follow-ups, if necessary. Coach and monitor performance of all staff members, while providing attainable action plans in accordance with clinic & individual goals. Hold each team member accountable for expectations set forth upon hire. Creates and implements new motivational systems based on clinic needs/results.

Administrative Commitment :

Use problem-solving skills and regular inspection to ensure compliance with a bias for action. Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality. Understand and complete retail and clinic supply inventory processes while being mindful of budgets put in place. Ensure all payroll processes are followed completely, accurately and in the timeframe required; this includes updating employee forms when necessary. Complete all daily tasks in a timely and efficient manner, while achieving clinic and individual goals. Manage time accordingly. Reacts well under pressure, accepts responsibility for own actions and follows through on commitments. Adaptable, flexible and hands-on - willing and able to perform other related duties as assigned.

Recruiting & Retention :

Assist parts of the interviewing and hiring process for all positions in the absence of the Clinic Manager. Attend and help guide monthly meetings with front desk staff and quarterly meetings with therapeutic staff to review compliance policies/sales/customer service/clinic specific concerns & best practices. Upon proper certification, assist in conducting employee evaluations by following the guidelines of review dates. Staying informed on current and upcoming Regional Recruiting Programs and efforts. Develop best practices to retain an excellent team.

Brand & Model Ambassador :

Understands, believes and upholds Massage Envy's Purpose, Vision and Values. Adhere to Massage Envy's Service Essentials on a daily basis. Maintains impeccable clinic standards by following all OSR (Operations Standard Review) guidelines. Assist in conducting monthly audits by utilizing reports and resources available to ensure the clinic is in line with required metrics.

Goal Achievement :

Set, monitor and manage performance of the clinic relative to sales, service, attrition, membership sales and growth by consistent review of metrics & reporting. Able to translate performance data and personal insight into meaningful and actionable improvements. Utilize all sales tracking resources available.

Shift Requirements:

(2) Closing Shifts per Week; (2) Weekend Days (consisting of Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) based on needs of clinic
