Prior experience as a general manager, store manager, in an auto dealership, automotive retail, auto sales, or retail management is very helpful to success in this job. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees.

Manage Inventories:

Ensure availability of merchandise and services.

• Grow Customer Base and be a Champion of Sales.

Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

Be Financially Sound:

Manage the profitability and financial health of the store. Required Qualifications

• Ten plus years of automotive shop management or tire shop management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from upper management, employees, vendors, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Valid in-state driver's license. Preferred Qualifications
• Multiunit store management experience.
