Job Description

Location:
Edison, New Jersey Salary- $225,000 + Our client, a leading New Jersey-based fashion company is seeking a Vice President of Licensing to join their team. This role will oversee licensing strategies, develop brand partnerships, and cultivate strong relationships with the licensors. The VP will manage a successful execution of licensed apparel, consumer goods, and accessories programs from concept through delivery while ensuring accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
Requirements:
Developing licensing strategies for a wide variety of products for Apparel, Accessories, Home, Consumer Goods and Stationery Secure new licensing opportunities with character, sports, consumer brands, and entertainment. Protect brand integrity ensuring adherence to licensing agreements. Communicate with the licensors, negotiate contracts, forecasting, contractual terms, and business strategy. Evaluate company's retail strategy, identify opportunities for success and challenges, and handle key accounts forecasting plans and budgets. Collaborate with cross functional teams ensuring products adhere to the licensor brand standards. Work closely with license stores to understand their business needs and explore growth opportunities. Lead meetings with internal teams to review product development, sales, and marketing updates, and keep management informed of license needs, interests, and potential new product opportunities. Monitor compliance with licensing agreements, including royalty payments, audit requirements, and sales reporting.
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business management, Marketing, or related field- Minimum of 10 years licensing experience Experience with licensing programs including entertainment properties, food, character brands, sports, fashion SERVIlifestyle, and consumer brands Demonstrate success negotiating and overseeing complex licensing agreements Proven problem-solving and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
