Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Hotel General Manager to lead the daily operations of our hotel. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for guest service, and a track record of driving revenue, profitability, and team performance. The ideal candidate is an energetic leader who inspires employees, builds a positive workplace culture, and consistently delivers outstanding guest satisfaction while achieving financial objectives. Hotel general managers are typically responsible for overseeing all departments, maintaining brand standards, managing financial performance, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day hotel operations. Lead, coach, and develop department managers and team members. Drive guest satisfaction and ensure exceptional service standards. Manage budgets, forecasting, revenue, and expense control to maximize profitability. Monitor labor costs, payroll, purchasing, and inventory. Ensure compliance with all brand standards, company policies, and safety regulations. Recruit, hire, train, and retain high-performing employees. Work closely with sales and revenue management to increase occupancy and RevPAR. Maintain the property to the highest standards of cleanliness, appearance, and maintenance. Build strong relationships with guests, owners, vendors, and the local community. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of hotel management experience, with at least 2 years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager. Brand experience with Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, Wyndham, Choice, or Best Western preferred. Strong financial management and budgeting skills. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, sales, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
