General Manager-Automotive Dealership (CJDR) 5768 State Route 15, Bryan, OH 43506 $100,000 - $135,000 a year $100,000 - $135,000 a year
Job Purpose:
The Automotive General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations and performance of the organization, ensuring strategic goals are met, and leading the team towards achieving business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills to drive growth and efficiency across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives. Oversee daily operations and ensure the efficient and effective use of resources. Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution. Establish policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision. Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics. Manage relationships with partners, vendors, and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company. Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations. Support worker communication with the management team.

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in a managerial role within a similar industry. Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams to achieve business objectives. Experience in strategic planning and execution to drive business growth and profitability. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation effectively.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in analyzing market trends and implementing strategies to enhance competitive positioning. Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results and improving processes. Proficiency in using business management software and tools for planning and analysis.
