This entry-level position is designed for individuals looking to develop their leadership skills and gain hands-on experience in management. As a Management Trainee, you will work closely with experienced managers to learn the ins and outs of their department operations, customer service, and team management within a Health Club, Social Club and Medical Fitness Facility. Duties 1. Cross train and become proficient at all frontline customer service positions across all CSC departments. 2. Serve as a daily huddle facilitator, conducting facility rounds and ensuring staff are wearing uniforms, and have read the message board and are up to date on events for the Club that day. 3. Assist members of the management team, covering department and managing employees when department managers are out of the building. Act as department manager when managers are on vacation. 4. Assist with setup and breakdown of Club social events, participate in planning and execution meetings. 5. Learn the sales and tours process to fill in for sales consultants when needed: tours, sign-ups, etc. 6. Assist department managers in updating manuals, checklists, processes and procedures as needed. 7. Attend all management trainings, manager retreats, and manager meetings. 8. Provide support as needed across departments including reporting, data-entry, strategic planning, and customer service. 9. Serve as Manager on Duty. 10. Other duties as may be assigned by Management. a. Member retention calls and emails b. Providing reports of at-risk members to management through the Club's AI provider c. Creating surveys and sending them out after social events d. Assigning and managing online comment cards. e. Conducting audits of Club programs to ensure proper and timely billing. Requirements 1. Must have excellent management and organizational skills. 2. Ability to coach, motivate, educate and manage the staff to provide excellent customer service. 3. Ability to manage efficiently within budget restraints. 4. Willingness to improve professionally and stay updated through experience and continuing education. 5. Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
